Cricket

There are few sounds which conjure up a sunny midsummer's evening like the distant whack of a cricket bat, a gentle ripple of applause and grown men wearing somewhat impractical outfits for outdoor sports.  I don't understand cricket myself, certainly don't get the appeal of watching it on TV but in little 5 minute bursts on a warm summer night it is delightful :-)
