It must be Summer

A much nicer day with plenty of sunshine. Richard and David were both at work so I had the freedom to get stuck into the housework but I did spend some time in the garden making the most of the warmth and sun. This speckled wood butterfly flew by and landed first on the metal chair and then on the last two remaining Montana flowers. I did nt realise that it had such colour hairs on it's body. It is quite common now and can be seen as far North as Ullapool.
The goldfinches have been bringing their babies in and the Great tits seem to have had three more youngsters.
