Holiday Souvenirs

Such a dull and wet day that an outside blip wasn't an option, so this is an EB of a couple of bead necklaces I bought on our recent holiday to the north west coast.  I watched the jewellery maker string the beads to make others and found it so hard to choose between them all.

A special treat today when I met up with friend L. and we had Afternoon Tea in the Hilton in Dundee.  It would have been even more special had the service not been so poor!  We waited nearly an hour for a pot of tea to appear on the table, then another 10 minutes for the food, another 5 for the jam and yet another 5 for some milk!  The place was reasonably busy, but not full by any means, but there was only one poor lad doing any serving.

The tea was delicious, but it's just as well we weren't in a hurry to do anything else:-)  Won't be rushing back there, that's for sure!
