Back Again

I'm pretty sure I blipped a forerunner of this flower last year too, but needs must when the weather switched between brutal heat and huge downpours all day.

And it was a day and a half workwise again.  E-mails and phone calls from the moment I arrived, culminating in a 2 and half hour phone-call & debugging session. 

Mind you, it could have been worse.  I could be working with our partner company in England, I got an E-Mail from them that was sent at 2:56 our time (so just before 2 in the morning in England) and I was talking to the bloke this morning at 9.

I got to show off in an E-mail today, I used the word "Pleonasmus".  In Englisch you would say "pleonasm".  It's used when a word is not necessary in a sentence, as in this example from IBM "... and resubmit the job again."  You don't need that "again".  cf "reversing backwards".

And yes, you can argue that it's all just another version of tautology.  But how often do you get the chance to drop a nice word like pleonasm into a sentence?
