Winter Day

Today Winter arrived, the rain started first thing this morning and continued the whole day, the temps have plummeted too, first thing this morning it was 4c, some places had minus temps. 
There was a dusting of snow on the top of Bluff Knoll in the South West.
Middle son & his family dropped off their dog Bessie this morning who is staying with us while they go on a camping trip, they have plenty winter woolies packed i think they will all be bunking in together tonight keeping warm, they are young I'm sure they will cope.
We got the scrabble out, this afternoon, i don't normally win hubby but today i had a win with placing all my letters not once but twice, lucky me. 
my extra shot is taken from our front door, after dinner tonight the rain was still lashing down, its good for the garden, its good to have a good down pour.
