Spring Grass, Whitman Mission

We took a spin through the Whitman Mission just to get out one evening. This is just a couple miles west of our house and is a nice spot to take a quick walk evenings, despite the morbid premise of the place. (The Whitman's and eleven others were killed by Cayuse tribesmen in 1947. This park is at the site of their mission and has a memorial along with the "great grave.")
