After a week away, it's always necessary to catch up a bit - with the washing, the ironing, and other domestic chores (like washing the balcony windows). Most of the day was spent on such pleasantries, plus some more CD ripping, speaking to L and L in Singapore, booking a flight, buying some more bits and pieces needed before Helsinki, and then taking a walk around the parades in the afternoon. This is an unidentified flower that would probably be classed as a weed in most contexts, but that sits nicely on the side of the north Edinburgh paths.
My walk concluded with a trip to the supermarket to pick up a few bits and pieces needed for that rarest of events - supper cooked by Arclight. I'm either ill, or still (mentally) on holiday. Back to work tomorrow.
Anyone who cannot get enough of my Assynt pictures can now consult a flickr album here. Lots of imposing lumps of rock.
