Backblip -

Today was one of the highlights of the week for me - we took the lift up some of the way and then walked up to the Aiguille Percée (the eye of the needle), through it and down across the snow to the open ski lift cabin, where we ate our sandwiches.  Then up to the viewpoint at 2767m, along the ridge - sometimes along the top and sometimes on the side of it - down scree (yuk) and back down to the valley.  It was a good walk, but with some precarious paths!
