I'm back from a week walking in the French Alps and I've had a great time.

When the transfer taxi took me back to my car at the Manchester hotel where it had been parked for the week I found it in a right mess as the birds had really taken a liking to it.  The taxi driver told me that the garage around the corner had a carwash... and in fact it had two, but neither of them were working so I gave up and drove home.  I expect I was the talk of the motorway!

It's been a long day and I'm just going to post the week's photos and return to add some text tomorrow... hopefully, although tomorrow seems to have got filled up!
