Union Terrace Gardens

I had things to do in town today so I walked in to the city via Union Terrace Gardens. I had confidently predicted earlier in the day that it would not rain. In fact the day has been mostly warm and sunny. However as can be seen from the photograph there were some clouds around.

As it happened the clouds here were obviously heading in my direction, about five minutes after having taken this photograph it started raining, and it was a heavy though probably short shower. Everybody apart from me seemed to be prepared with a coat or umbrella. I eventually made it to a shop where I could take shelter for a while and wait for it to finish.
