On the rails

I have spent most of the day on the rails. From Aberdeen to Twyford. All the trains were on time but I cannot say it was a pleasant journey. The train to London Kings Cross was busy, especially between Dundee and Edinburgh, but the main cause of discomfort was the coach was too cold. I was not exactly frozen, but uncomfortable.

On the train from Paddington to Twyford we were packed like sardines. Apparently the train was shorter than it should be normally.

It is much warmer in Twyford than Aberdeen, probably about 10 degrees or so. Most of the way down it was cloudy, but here the sun is shining. However I did not get much chance to enjoy the sun and warmth as I fell asleep not long after arriving at my destination.
