Flower in the Lawn.

I’m a few weeks late posting this little flower in the lawn; at a guess, it was the day that I cut the grass as that’s when I notice such tiny delicacies. It appears to be some wild variety of Ajuga, aka bugle or bugleweed, a relative of the mint family. Bees of all descriptions are fond of any of the related species. In spite of numerous mowings since then, it’s still growing; in fact, I think I Bipped it again today. I’ll go out and taste a sliver of it tomorrow.
 
It was probably my intention of posting it for the Tiny Tuesday challenge.
 
Well, it’s a bit late for that now.
