Shadow Selfie

For MonoMonday 180 with many thanks to 60Plus for hosting this month.  

The fireworks are thundering throughout the neighborhood and echoing in the valleys, the train whistle is blowing all around town and will be all night and the horseflies are buzzing about, it must be July 4th eve.  

A tradition in our little town for a small group of the older townies to ride around all night with a train whistle on this night and keep it blowing as they ride up and down the streets.  I'm not sure the significance, but we look forward to hearing it.
