Vintage Transport

The Steam Railway hosted a visit today from about thirty members of 'The Vintage Motor Cycle Club' all riding beautifully preserved bikes from early to the mid 1900's.

This machine from around 1915 is The Sunbeam which I was told was very advanced engineering for it's day. The motor cycle and owner are photographed next to Freshwater our oldest engine built in 1876.

The noise from all the bikes when they arrived together was quite something to hear.
