Arctic Tern

Today’s bird in flight is an Arctic Tern, defending its territory. We went to Mousa to see its famous broch and all its seabirds. There is a good number of Terns, Bonxies, (Great Skuas) and also Red Throated Divers that are quite common in Shetland. It was quite warm, so I was in shorts, but clouded in later. The extra is of the view from our camping spot at 23:35 on East Burra looking to Burra; it really doesn’t get dark in the Simmer Dim.

Yesterday's blip.
