Yuck

It was a yucky morning for a walk - exceedingly muggy. But then again, not all that hot yet, so bearable. Just the usual morning walk, albeit enlivened by finding a fungus thing the likes of which we had never seen - see extra - which a bit of googling subsequently revealed to probably be something called mutinus elegans - otherwise known as "stinkhorn." Yuck again! And finally, we crossed paths with a lovely Eastern Box Turtle - see second extra - that was crossing the dirt road that we regularly walk down. We helped him up the rather steep bank on the edge, because it looked like it would be hard work for him. 

Currently having trouble uploading the turtle - so I'll do it in stages... And there we go! Done.
