Too cold to be comfortable,not cold enough to snow

The rain has been dampening everyones spirits today but there have been rumors of snow. In this part of Japan it rarely snows but still gets quite cold in January and February. Best part about living here is that the ski fields are only a couple of hours away on the exceptionally reliable and prompt Japanese Rail system.
