At Play in the Cold

While hunting Big Ears, I came upon this chubby little girl playing in the middle of the rubble. It wasn't raining this morning, the sun was just coming up, and the light was being reflected by some kind of metal sheet behind the girl, making her curls stand out against the dark background. Her older brother was keeping an eye on her from the other side of the street.

Starting tonight, we (Projeto Amar) will be distributing soup, warm clothes and blankets to people who live on the streets. Saturday or Sunday we will be heading out again to the highway and doing the same for the children of the BR101.
