Mid-winter dip

Crazy day of mostly highs for the kids......our annual 'WGT' show where Year 10's perform their finely (and not so finely!) crafted dance works to the Year 9's.  It's about managing themselves, their groups, their time and their nerves as they get up in front of some 350 members of the audience.  For most, it's also about getting right outside their comfort zones, which they do..........and then experiencing the euphoria in a massive adrenalin rush when they pull it all off and survive to tell the story.  Of course, there's the obligatory staff dance too, where looking goony is all part of the fun!

Hot on the heels of the WGT show we had the annual mid-winter swim.  Good numbers this year with over 60 hearty souls taking the plunge.  Whilst it has most definintley been a mild winter so far, the frosts the last two mornings have brough the reality of winter back into focus very sharply!  

Definitely better to be behind the camera at this event!
