Silene dioica

Red campion from the garden. Why is it called that when it's clearly pink? Anyway, its traditional medicinal use is as a cure for snakebites, which is good to know.

A bit hot today and a quiet day at home here. I've had one of my jaw/head/neck/etc aches since yesterday, which is driving me crazy, grrrr. Hopefully it'll have gone by the morning as I have retail therapy and lunch plans!
