Blackcap (juv.)

It, and I, were waiting for a parent to come along and feed it. Instead, a dogwalker came along and it flew off.

Juvenile blackcap - Sylvia atricapilla

I made a mistake yesterday and the jack-up rig was not entering the Forth to be laid up (stacked). This morning it was already loaded onto a huge transporter (OHT Albatross) which was just visible through the murk over the Forth. Most of the day it was hidden by the poor visibility offshore (though it brightened on land).
Just after sunset, I was able to see it again, still on its transporter but swung round by the tide to be head-on.
