A challenge of my own

Apparently quite a few blippers are nervous about the community challenge I recently posted (photographing municipal workers). 

So I figured it's only fair that I impose a challenge on myself and get out of my comfort zone by photographing flowers! ;) [way better to my taste in large]

So here are a couple of attempts at that genre, in between bouts of thunderstorms that lasted all day (and cancelled my golf outing too! Annoyed and grumpy about that one...)
