Juvenile Cooper's Hawk

I was sitting on the deck this morning trying to come up with something for Abstract Thursday when I felt as if I was being watched.  There was not one, but two of these beauties sitting on my back fence like bookends. Unfortunately, they weren't close enough together to capture  in the same frame.  We've been watching the parents since early spring as they nested in a tree that we can see from our back yard.  These two must have fledged a few weeks ago because we saw the family of four flying together over the neighborhood.  Now it seems that they are exploring on their own and they must like our yard because I saw one of them out there 2 more times during the day.  :-)
