After the rain

A bit of a cheeky blip as soon as I got home. The rain had eased to a drizzle and dusk came with a brief apricot smile.

It reminded me of a song.

For the nosy among you (you know who you are ;-) I'm standing by my letter box. That's a bit of my house in the left foreground and the last of carpet roses I'm still to hack prune in front of the fence. You can just see a few blooms. The mountains are behind the line of trees in the distance. There are paddocks with sheep in front of the trees.

If I want to climb a small mountain on Sunday I have to feel a whole lot less tired than I do right now. That's the deal.

Today's gratitude: Quite simply it's Friday and I'm pretty happy about that.
