Groovy Movers

I met up with my friend, Thom, at Forest Farm Nature Reserve near Coryton, Cardiff, to do some birdie shooting. As usual I got lucky within 10 minutes with the first shots being of a baby Kingfisher, despite other twitchers who were leaving saying they'd been there a while with no activity!I blipped one a couple of months ago with a fish in its mouth so have given that a blipfoto miss!!

Next up was the baby Robin that allowed me and Thom to get within a couple of feet - obviously knew Thom had bird food in his pocket and he was rewarded for posing!

The photo I like best was taken about 25 feet away of a pair of mating Dragonflies in flight. They were moving about very fast and picking off a shot wasn't easy especially at a distance!
