Cows, Calves and Motorways

This protective mother was not in the least interested in the M62 behind her - but very concerned as to my intentions.  She had no need to worry - I fully intended keeping the wall between us.
This is where the M62 crosses the Scammonden Valley.  I wonder how many travellers realise how close they are to nature as they thunder along the motorway just a little less than 1,000 ft above sea level.
