Mr. Downy Woodpecker is getting fed up with feeding those big chicks! 

The one on the right asked to be fed one time too many, while the one on the left patiently waited its turn. Despite Mr. Downy Woodpecker''s swift negative response, the chick still tried again (see first extra photo).

"What didn't you understand about NO!" is clearly what that frazzled father is saying in the second extra photo.

I could watch our backyard birds for hours, but now it's time to leave for our yoga class, where tranquility reigns supreme.
