Rough Tor

Backblip 27/06/17

I was still feeling a bit unsure about going on a walk so let the boys go off for a hike on Bodmin. They ended up near Rough Tor, the second highest point in Cornwall, beaten only by Brown Willy nearby.

After they got back I went out with them for a drive along lots of tiny lanes to Trebarwith Strand. It was raining quite heavily by the time we got to the bottom with torrents of water coming down the hill. Needless to say we just sat in the car looking at the view before turning around to climb back up the hill.
We got stuck in a bit of a jam when a motor-home was trying to pass a range rover. We sat for ages wondering what on earth was taking so long when we realised that the range rover had a bicycle on the back that was sticking out too far for the motor-home to pass. They eventually sorted themselves out and we carried on driving through Port Gavern and Port Isaac and back to the cottage.
