Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Poor Archie...

... TWO showers in TWO days! Back to the regime. AND they have fun with his soapy wet beard.

Another leisurely start to the day (SO nice not to be rushing off to catch a bus/train/boat/plane) and Rufus and his mum popped in to say hello. I did not inflict the hundreds of holiday photos on them. Yet.

JR took Archie for a walk round the duck pond while I refused to budge from the sofa relaxed in front of the tennis. Though I did doze through Andy's first set, but awoke in time to cheer him on to a win. Still watching the Nadal/Muller match. What a game!

Had been looking forward to watching 'The Heavy Water War' (about the sabotage of the German attempts in Norway to create the atomic bomb) but it's not on Netflix any more. But we did spot 'Nobel', a Norwegian series, which had been recommended by freespiral, and the first episode was terrific.

It's nice to be at home with a wee sweet-smelling dog snoring gently and sighing contentedly on my lap.
