Glasgow

It was an easy ride to Glasgow on mostly smooth old railway tracks. Not too many huge hills and a lot of beautiful views. We noticed that the annoying gates were absent, giving us much flexibility in moving around. The track is very well signposted including some works of art making the ride pleasant.

In Paisley, we were accompanied by an American man cycling in Scotland for three weeks. He said he was impressed with my quick way of finding a way in a strange city.  He himself should have checked his mobile phone frequently. As I said,  the route was very well signposted.
He stays in the Travelodge hotel. We are staying in the center of Glasgow.
