CANARY BIRD

This beautiful plant Rosa xanthina commonly known as the canary bird is a medium sized shrub rose which prefers full sun and is so easy to grow and gives such a wonderful array of golden yellow flowers.
It is usually one of the first to flower in Spring and if you are very lucky, you may get a second showing in August / September as we do.
Our plant measures approximately 2m x 2.5m and we usually get several hundred flowers when it blooms in the Spring, and they will last for over a month.
It is such a lovely shrub rose that the R H S gave it a prestigious Garden Merit award for it's beauty.
This is a beautiful species and would recommend it to anyone who has room in their garden.
