Holme Moss Radio Transmitter

On our way for a weekend in the Peak District.

We decided on the scenic route and travelled via Huddersfield and Holmfirth. Stopped in a howling gale at the top of Holme Moss for a cup of tea and a blip of the Holme Moss Transmitter.

I didn't know this but it now only transmits radio broadcasts, having ceased TV in 1985.
