Our specialist Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens police officer was doing a splendid job this morning checking all was in order in the parks. It was impressive to watch him dealing with riders blatantly peddling down No Cycling paths - a danger to walkers and small children. Community policing in action.

He is an imposing presence and a welcome sight. And his bike frame is spotlessly clean - no sign of any grease on the chain or gears.
