Pictorial blethers

A new perspective

This lovely little ship is, I imagine, meant to be one bringing a Celtic saint to s landfall somewhere in the diocese of Argyll and The Isles. It's on the staircase window of the Warden's house at the southern end of the South College - part of the buildings of the Cathedral of The Isles that I haven't stayed in since the early 1970s.

This weekend I'm back, standing in for the wardens, and it feels quite strange . But armed with s bunch of keys and the kind instructions from the man that fixes the fire alarm, I'm sure all will be well.

Won't it?
