Purple Poppy

I was hoping to go to the Harley-Davidson rally in Brechin today, but  12 noon and it's been raining all morning and looks unlikely to stop:(  There's quite a wind too!  Decided it had to be a stay-at-home day. Spotted a stranger in the garden  -  a purple Poppy!  Only had red, yellow and orange poppies so far this year, so had to blip this one complete with raindrops!  I took lots of shots  -  the extra shows a close-up.  Have a nice weekend, everyone:)
