Valla Field

It was the solstice and whilst London was 34.5 degrees in was 12.6 in Lerwick, and I’m glad we were near the latter. We cycled up the Marilyn of Valla Field on the old track from the Loch of Watlee; it was a bright and breezy morning.  It’s an old military track and apart from one section of tarmac it’s unsealed and quite easy. The blip is the view from the top looking east towards Balta Sound. The extra is the beach at the Ham of Muness.

Yesterday's blip.
