Ribe

Amazingly it rained overnight and was cooler when we got up so rather than hanging around we set off for Denmark. We passed through heavy rain and strong winds with the temperature down to 9.5 for a while before arriving in Denmark. It was windy and showery, but quiet as we drove to Ribe, Denmark’s oldest town. The car park on the south side is free and you can stay for 48 hours, so is popular with campervans and motor homes. We got lucky and found a space before walking into town to look around, The blip is of one of the many quaint old streets in the town. We had tea and then went back for the Watchman tour of the town in the evening that was really good; luckily in English as well as Danish.
