The Mother had phoned to say she would be out tonight. That meant we didn't have to get home quickly. It had been a lovely sunny afternoon and I thought it would make a change to eat down by the lake.

A rainbow kept appearing as the evening sun hit showers around us. we needed to get far enough down the lake to shoot back towards the rainbow but the meal was cooling as we travelled.

Needless to say, by the time we stopped and ate our curry, the clouds had come over and the sun could hardly be seen. Never mind, it was a lovely evening and we really enjoyed our lakeside picnic!
