Left Clifton via the suspension bridge (well worth the £1.50!) and drove on even further south and west. Made it to S & C's place near Liskeard in plenty of time for me to rest up a bit. Lovely fish pie for dinner again....but actually quite different from last night's. :-) S drove us into Bodmin in the evening for me to do a turn at the folk club; hadn't been there for over 30 years so no danger of over-exposure. A lovely surprise was that the wonderful John the Fish turned up; he even sang a song - "What's the life of a man (any more than a leaf)?", very suitable for one of Cornwall's leading humanists! It was a great evening and I certainly had a good time even if the audience didn't, haha!

Oh, the view is from S's kitchen window.
