Cooling Off in the Ammer

Don't be fooled by the picture - the dog didn't seem at all happy about paddling in the freezing water and couldn't get out fast enough!
We'd a loooong lie this morning and a late breakfast then. since it was such a cracking day, took ourselves off for a walk alongside the Ammer. There are cycle paths on both sides of the river and we started off at the 128k mark; don't think we'll ever walk back to the first marker but we headed in the other direction anyway. We were heading for Polling but missed the turn-off so it took a bit longer than planned and we got a bit more sun than planned. However it did make the first beer in Polling beergarden go down exceptionally well!
Sitting out on the terrace now watching the sky turn pink over the Alps. Not bad.
