Now these are the kind of assembly instructions I like, short and to the point! Better still, the other bracket was marked C and D. I'm now seated on the assembled bench, possibly the most stable bench I've ever encountered. Long may it remain so or I'll be looking for further instructions.

Not much going on today; cleaned the canopy outside while waiting on said bench to be delivered, a trip to the bank and the local Homebase equivalent, a trip to Renate's to return some borrowed bits & pieces and an evening spent outside reading and watching another ridiculously great sunset. It was warm today, going to be warmer tomorrow. I can live with that.
