Scafell massif from Dore Head.

I climbed up Red Pike from the Mosedale valley. What a slog; the "path next to the Dore Head screes" is almost non-existent. What I estimated at about 30 minutes was almost three times that long of unremitting toil. Still, the view almost made up for it. This is looking east from Dore Head to the Scafell Massif. You can see the whole sweep of it from here; Kirk Fell, Great Gable, Great End, Lingmell and Scafell Pike. The foreground on the right is Yewbarrow.
The extras are of the row of windswept rowan trees running up the southern slope of Yewbarrow, and an old stone barn at the top end of Wastwater.
A long day, but great views and nice images.
