Love all

A night of almost no sleep for no apparent reason. It happens.  Bro had stayed the night - so difficult to creep around the house in the wee small hours to make a cup of tea when my bedroom door squeaks, kitchen cupboard doors bang shut, kettles roar, teaspoons clatter to the floor and the stairs groan under my weight. He must have been out for the count however, as he slept right through what seemed to me to be a veritable  Hammer House of Horrors soundtrack.

Finally gave up and got up around 7.30,  Ikea due to deliver my shelving units some time this morning anyway.  More tea. They came around 10am and bro woke up and made us both porridge.

A jolly afternoon with bro and also youngest nephew.  They played some kind of improvised table tennis game on the patio whilst I put together the first of the Ikea units and watched Roger Federer do what he does so well, and ensure his name is forever writ in Wimbledon records.  Well, world records actually. Sometimes bro came and lent me his bulk by smacking down on a misaligned wood plug as can some times be necessary with recalcitrant flat pack furniture.  Finals of the mixed doubles did not go according to my plan, but hey ho. Nice for the Murray family. There was also some knitting achieved during the day. Related to yesterday's excursion to Hobbycraft. More anon.

Evening meal of home delivery Indian with bro. One of the best things about being in Chelmsford = Home delivery. Indian food.

The quick snap taken at 19.30 because the sky looked as if it was filled with  a fluffy tennis ball migration.  A better image than knitting anyway on this very 'at home' kind of day. Typical Sunday I guess. Jolly good day. Hope yours was too.
