Monte Monaco

This beautiful little hill town is less than 10 miles from Amandola. We came up this morning as the weather was glorious and followed part of the 'Grand Via die Parco' the route through the Monte Sibillini National Park.

Extensive views over the Sibillini Mountains and a splendid little local produce shop where we bought excellent cheese for lunch.

A hot afternoon so we made the most of it sitting on the terrace at Casa Leone (my friend's house) drinking Prosecco and chilling Italian style!
