Pine Cone

This afternoon I was reading my book when there was a mighty crash to my left. This large pine cone had broken free and hit the decking. At least it didn't hit me.
It's one of the hazards of being in a pine forest. You have to be careful where you park your car too as they can leave nasty dents.
