After the rain and thunder

A day of admin and chores. First up was the arrival of the solar panel service engineer to give the system its five year service. Very useful as I didn't have a clue how it all worked and the engineer very kindly answered a barrage of questions. The solar panels provide all our hot water over the summer. 

I felt quite fatigued after yesterday's walk and given the rather humid conditions the house work was performed almost in slow motion! A trip to the supermarket completed the chores for the day after which I settled down to edit the photos I took early yesterday morning at Brother's Water before setting off for the walk. It was perfectly still and the reflections were stunning. The pick of the bunch from yesterday's shots is today's extra.

The long awaited thunder storm arrived at about 5:30pm and the rain and thunder rumbled on until nearly 8:30pm. Today's blip was grabbed during a brief respite from the rain.
