Woodland Path

Today my friends, John and Eric were over and we decided to explore the memorial woodland in Binning Wood where they do the open-air burials. It was very overcast so the lighting in the forest was quite subdued but with plenty of subtle tones. It felt very tranquil in the part of the woods which obviously is ideal for its memorial purposes. John commented that there is something quite calming about a woodland setting. My blip is in fact on the way up to the memorial woodland but this pathway captured the subtle tones better than all of my other images. I have included a monochrome image as an extra which is in the memorial part of the forest.
