An early start and a drive over to Bradford University to see Harriet and her colleagues receive their degrees after several years of study.

We are very proud parents as Harriet has gained a First Class Honours Degree and now goes on to study medicine in September.

The extra shows Harriet receiving the award from Kate Swan, Chancellor of the University.

To show my age, the last time I attended a degree ceremony here was back in the 1980s when Harold Wilson was Chancellor.
