Camping in the rain

Today marks the day of our first ever camping trip. Well, glamping! We have been very unlucky with the weather as it rained cats and dogs! We had planned a little BBQ but the weather was just so bad we ended to driving to a local pub for tea!

But, trying to take the positive attitude! We played games of ludo and snakes and ladders with the children and it was actually nice to listen to the rain hammering on the roof of the hut!!

We did manage a quick look around before the rain got too heavy and saw these swans in the river. Tomorrow will be brighter in the morning so we are hoping to get out early and make the most of our beautiful surroundings!
