Cherries

Went to Blackmoor estates cherry day today. It wasn't very well signed when we arrived at the Blackmoor estate, but we found it in the end. They have a 4 ha orchard of cherries trees that they grow and sell into the UK supermarket system or directly if they can. They have only a short season, but when they are available they are very nice. My better half made a classic clafoutis aux cerises from some of the cherries - very yummy!
